Valet Parking

Overview

Valet Parking allows calls to be placed in a valet park slot and retrieved from another extension. This feature is useful for handling calls that need to be transferred between different users or departments.

Configuration

  1. Create Valet Park Group

    • Navigate to Valet Parking.
    • Select Add Valet Park Group.
    • Enter a name for the valet park group.
  2. Assign Slots

    • Define the number of valet park slots available.
    • Assign extensions to monitor the valet park slots.

Usage

  • Place a call in a valet park slot by transferring the call to the designated number.
  • Retrieve the call from the valet park slot by dialing the slot number from any extension.

Best Practices

  • Clearly label valet park slots to avoid confusion among users.
  • Regularly review and update valet park settings to ensure efficient call handling.
