Music On Hold

Overview

Music on Hold (MoH) allows you to play music or messages to callers who are on hold. This feature can enhance the caller experience by providing entertainment or important information while they wait.

Configuration

  1. Upload Music Files:

    • Navigate to Music On Hold.
    • Select Add Music.
    • Choose a file from your local device (supported formats: wav, mp3).

  2. Set Default Music:

    • Choose the default music to be played when callers are placed on hold.

  3. Assign Music to Call Routes:

    • Navigate to Call Routing.
    • Select a call route and assign the appropriate music on hold.

Usage

  • Use Music On Hold to keep callers engaged while they are waiting.
  • Ensure the music files are of high quality and appropriate for your audience.

Best Practices

  • Regularly update the music on hold to keep it fresh and interesting for callers.
  • Use a mix of music and informational messages to provide value to callers while they wait.
